  1. Today we had a very nice guest lecture by Mr Dilip Patil. He taught us about the bio-medical waste management (which in short is called BMW). In the guest lecture I got to know about the different bins used in hospital to segregate the waste which were: The red bin (for the human organs), yellow bin (blood containing items), blue bin (glass items), green bin (normal garbage) and the black bin (radioactive items). He also taught us a way for remembering waste management (the symbol of Mc Donalds just rotate it; from M it will become W). The guest lecture was really interesting!!!!!!!!!!

  2. It was really a great experience to interact with such a highly talented and inquisitive group of students of NESISM IB World School, PYP-5. The background and understanding of the UOI topic of waste management was visible from the questions which were asked by the students. The hard work and enthusiasm of the teachers is commendable. I am proud and glad that my daughter Kalika is part of this group. I wish the students and the school all the best.

  4. first we should know these things perfectly. Medical waste refers to the hazardous waste material generated as a result of healthcare activities. This waste remains an issue both for public health and the environment. The management of the same is a technique adopted in hospitals to reduce the squander generated and find ways to recycle this material in order to lower the disposal costs and new material expenses

  5. There are many methods that are used in managing and removing medical waste from medical facilities as well as residential areas. This field involves the management of waste that is collected from hospitals, clinics and other such establishments. Medical waste is basically the stuff that is used in hospitals and other medical facilities like syringe, injection needles, etc.

  8. The main culprit responsible for medical waste is definitely the waste producer, which are the health-care providers. They should be given extensive training on proper waste disposal management. The change should start from them because they are the root of the problem. Medical Waste Disposal VA
